Jan 25, 2020. Do you trust your intuition? And if yes, do you admit it to others? Have you ever asked your colleagues, your supervisor or your partner to follow your suggestion in an important matter because of your intuition? Many of our decisions - even important ones - are based on our intuition. However, often we tend to ignore this and justify our decisions retrospectively with data, facts and rational arguments - even if they played almost no role in our decision making process.
At our 7th Compass Salon “Follow Your Intuition” on February 25th, 2020, from 7.00-9.00pm at our new partner Adjust’s offices we will explore the concept of intuition, how it is related to our bodies and how we can use it purpusefully to make decisions. Afterwards we’ll have a wine tasting with Alisa from the great Argentinian organic wine company and partner Nampelka. Snacks will be provided as well - thanks to Adjust. A big thank you to both our partners for supporting our 7th Compass Salon!
Two wonderful facilitators will help us to explore the practices of stopping and listening as ways of creating conditions for the emergence of knowledge and creative solutions within ourselves, as well as building a vocabulary to communicate our intuitions to others in an effective way. We are faced with challenges of great magnitude, from the climate crisis to social justice struggles and beyond. So let us embrace this rich source of insight and intelligence - namely our intuitive processes - facilitated and instantiated through our body and mind.

EVA BAKARDJIEV
Eva is a Somatic Coach and catalyst for personal and social transformation. Her mission is to empower people by reconnecting them to their inherent body wisdom. And thus, to expand into a life of freedom, purpose, and possibility to impact the world at large.
She has been in private practice for the past 9 years and touched the lives of hundreds of clients in 1-on-1 processes, as a workshop facilitator and conference speaker: www.bodyattention.net
Her work integrates her academic education of a B.A. in Social Anthropology, Pedagogy and Gender Studies, and her performance background in Contemporary Dance, with an extensive training in Somatic Methodologies, such as the Grinberg Method and Yin Yoga.
At Compass Salon Eva will facilitate an experiential introduction to Somatics/ Embodiment as holistic approach to re-establish and utilize the intimate connection between our bodies and minds. We will zoom in on one body part in particular - our eyes. Establishing a felt understanding of how the habitual way we look, shapes and often limits not only our physical vision and perspective, will show its massive effect also on our vision and perspective as mental processes. The way we repeatedly use our eyes (and ultimately our whole body) shapes our ability to think and access our intuition.
We look forward to welcoming you to an evening of discussion, insight and inspiration!
Compass Salon is free but invitation only - if you like to attend drop us a line why you might be the right person to attend and join our community :-)!
